A Letter From the Founders
While still young in age, Theta Chi at the University of Missouri has matured far beyond its years. The idea to form a new fraternity chapter at Mizzou began in the spring of 2007 as a group of friends sat around together in their freshman dormitory. The group has come a long way since their humble beginning: from an idea, to an interest group, to a colony, and finally to becoming the Iota Mu chapter of Theta Chi Fraternity. Over 30 initiated members have now graduated and moved on to a new chapter in their lives but the values of Theta Chi stay true in their hearts. They will never forget the struggles they shared together building the chapter, the brotherhood they formed along the way, and how they learned to extend the helping hand to each person, brother and non-brother, that was in need. And each new member that joins our brotherhood can look forward to experiencing, living, and sharing in these same connections throughout college, and the rest of their lives.
