The growth of the Iota Mu chapter has allowed it to enter an exciting venture — its first ever internal philanthropy, Bowling for Breast Cancer. As a fundamental value of the Greek community, service through coordination of and participation in philanthropy projects is a long-standing tradition amongst chapters at Mizzou. Theta Chi is proud to enter this tradition with an event all its own. Bowling for Breast Cancer will be held this Saturday, March 3, and will benefit the Mid-Missouri Affiliate of Susan G Komen for the Cure. The bowling tournament will raise funds for breast cancer awareness, research, and treatment in the Central Missouri community. Theta Chi hopes to raise over $5,000 with its first event, and there are opportunities for everyone to get involved.
